Make me a boat
by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
If I communicate to my men
the love of walking on the sea,
then you will see them soon diversifying
according to their thousand particular qualities:
that one will weave the fabrics,
the other in the forest will lay down the tree,
the other still will forge nails
and it will be some share which will observe the
stars to learn how to control,
and all however will be only one.
To create the ship,
it is not to weave the fabrics,
to forge the nails,
to read the stars,
but to instead give a taste for the sea.
